Lily Ryan – Co-Publisher Editor
My sisters and I joke that we grew up under the fax machine at the Pontiac Journal, in Fort-Coulonge. Growing up in a family newspaper is a vibrant place, one that has kept me in the newsroom. I worked in virtually every post along the way, from the dark room, to the police report, to pasting up with the wax machine, even sales and collections.
After exploring the world and completing two undergraduate degrees at McGill University, I spent five years as editor of the Pontiac Journal and then took a few years off to start a family. Now, I work as editor of the West Quebec Post and of the third newspaper run by my family, the Bulletin d’Aylmer. I am co-owner/publisher of these three wonderful newspapers.
