The return of Musical Tuesdays celebrated with music by Nick Loyer

After a start to the season marked by unpredictable weather, Musical Tuesdays finally returned to the Agora in the Plateau sector on August 4, under a bright sun. Starting at 7 pm, many spectators gathered to enjoy a free outdoor performance by singer-songwriter Nick Loyer. Comfortably seated in their chairs, they enjoyed a musical evening in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Originally from the Outaouais region, Nick Loyer offers a world where folk sounds, rock influences, and introspective lyrics blend seamlessly. In 2025, the artist released his first album, Line in the Sand, a project of original songs that explore human relationships, the passage of time, and personal experiences. On stage, he favours intimate performances where the connection with the audience and the quality of the melodies take centre stage.
This concert marked the return of Musical Tuesdays, a series of free shows presented throughout the summer at the Agora to showcase artists from the region and beyond.
With the return of warmer weather, this evening allowed the public to reconnect with this summer cultural event, which has become a must-attend for many Gatineau residents.
