Complexe Funéraire Girardot earns top certification for service excellence

The Complexe Funéraire Girardot, a leading funeral service provider in Gatineau, has been awarded one of Québec's highest distinctions in the funeral industry: the certification from the Bureau de Normalisation du Québec (BNQ) for excellence in customer service. This recognition places Girardot among a select group of funeral homes across the province that have met the stringent standards required for such accreditation.

The certification, announced by the Corporation des thanatologues du Québec (CTQ), the industry body representing over 500 funeral service companies. This benchmark ensures transparency, quality, and professionalism in funeral services—a vital measure of reliability for families navigating grief and loss. The certification involves an independent evaluation process that scrutinises a funeral home’s operations, customer relations, and overall service delivery.

In a ceremony marking the achievement, Geneviève Veilleux, President of the CTQ, praised the Girardot team’s dedication to elevating funeral service standards in the region. "The efforts of the Complexe Funéraire Girardot, along with its commitment to service quality, truly set them apart," Veilleux said. "This certification is not only a reflection of their professionalism but also a reassurance to the families they serve."

For Julie Girardot, President and General Manager of the funeral home, the achievement represents years of hard work and dedication by her staff. "We receive this certification with immense pride," she said in a statement. "Our team has undertaken a monumental effort over the past few years, and we can now confidently say that we offer some of the best funeral services in Québec."
