An Advent calendar to support Moisson Outaouais

Rochef Chocolatier is partnering with Moisson Outaouais to offer an Advent calendar, with a portion of the proceeds going to support individuals and families facing food insecurity.
Rochef Chocolatier will donate $22.50 to Moisson Outaouais for every calendar sold to help combat food insecurity in the region. The project is led by Roch Fournier, founding president of Rochef Chocolatier, and Marie-Pier Chaput, director of communications at Moisson Outaouais.
The calendar contains 816 grams of chocolate. From December 1 through 24, consumers will enjoy four chocolates per day, plus four fleur de sel caramel chocolates on December 25.
The initiative also benefits from the participation of more than 43 retailers in the Outaouais region. According to the organizers, these businesses are taking part in the sale without receiving a commission, thereby helping to maximize the impact of this fundraiser.
Pre-sales have already begun on the Rochef Chocolatier website. Starting in November, the Advent calendars will also be available at several local stores, including IGA Extra Famille Plamondon in Gatineau, Bobino Bagel in Hull and Gatineau, as well as La Trappe à Fromage and La Boîte à Grains, which have multiple locations.
Other retailers in Gatineau, Chelsea, and Cantley will also be participating in the distribution.
